Company FixIS provided complete technical preparation and implementation of IT infrastructure for the company’s new warehouse premises FixDistribution s.r.o. with an area of 4000 m². The aim of the project was to create a safe, reliable and modern technological environment that supports efficient logistics and smooth operation of the warehouse.

Main elements of implementation:

  • Camera system – Designed and deployed an extensive video monitoring system with more than 150 cameras, covering all logistically and safety-critical areas of the warehouse.
  • Access Control System – Installed electronic access control system that controls and monitors the movement of people throughout the facility.
  • Wi-Fi coverage without interruptions – Top-quality wireless coverage has been built throughout the warehouse with a focus on stability and performance, even in challenging operating conditions.
  • Bespoke network infrastructure – Communication and data network designed from the ground up, including five server racks strategically located in different parts of the warehouse to ensure reliable network operation.
  • Redundant connectivity and encrypted connectivity – The structure was built on the basis of two independent Internet connections with an integrated network balancer and encrypted connection to the main company servers and cloud services, which ensure the operation of internal systems and warehouse processes without interruptions.
  • Wireless Barcode Scanners – Deployed new mobile barcode scanning devices, fully integrated with the warehouse system for instant data collection and processing.

Technologies and solutions used:

  • IP camera system (150+ points) – Warehouse wide coverage for security and process traceability.
  • Access Control System – Controlled access for employees and visitors by authorization level.
  • Professional Wi-Fi infrastructure – Seamless coverage with high throughput and traffic prioritization.
  • Redundant Connection + Balancer + VPN – High-availability Internet connection with encrypted tunneling to the company’s main network.
  • Planning and installation of cabling and secure network infrastructure – Complete design and implementation of structured cabling with emphasis on stability, security and future system expansion.

Thanks to this implementation, the company gained FixDistribution a modern and technically prepared warehouse facility, which enables it to handle high volumes of logistics with an emphasis on speed, accuracy and process safety.
