Company FixIS has played a key role as IT consultant and IT architect in the design and development of the internal system Logis for the company FixDistribution s.r.o.which was designed for logistics department and field team.

Project objectives:

The goal was to create a solution for efficient analysis and planning of delivery routes, as well as a mobile application for drivers and merchandisers to manage warehouse processes, display goods and collect data in the field.

The FixIS Task:

  • Requirements gathering and process analysis – FixIS was actively involved in gathering requirements from the logistics team and company management to accurately define the needs of individual users.
  • Solution Architecture Design – The FixIS team designed a technical and system architecture that enables scalability, security and efficient integration with the rest of the company’s IT environment.
  • IT consultation during development – Throughout the project, we acted as a bridge between the development team and the business requirements, providing technical guidance and continuously optimizing interface and feature designs.
  • Description of APIs and data flows – Development of detailed descriptions of interfaces, data structures and processing logic that serve as the basis for interconnecting applications and backend systems.

Result:

The project has resulted in the creation of the modern i2 logistics solution, which is fully integrated into FixDistribution’s other internal tools and is actively used in daily operations. The solution has brought higher logistics efficiency, reduced errors and better supervision of processes both in the warehouse and in the field.

  • Mobile app for Android/iOS – Tailored to users in the field, with a simple interface and the ability to work offline.
  • Modular Architecture – Flexible system designed to allow further expansion of functionality.
