FixIS has implemented a successful migration of the e-mail system of Lavaton s.r.o. from the original on-premises Microsoft Exchange solution to the cloud platform Microsoft 365. The aim of the project was to provide stable, secure and flexible e-mail communication without outages and service interruptions.

Main steps of the project:

  • Planning a Hybrid Transition Solution – The original servers were configured so that the system automatically verified the existence of mailboxes.
  • Parallel operation of both systems – Thanks to the hybrid configuration, it was possible to use both the old and the new email system at the same time, which enabled a smooth and controlled transition.
  • Gradual migration of mailboxes – The transfer of e-mail accounts was phased, without impacting the company’s normal operations and the work of employees.
  • Cost optimization – Through careful planning and avoiding downtime, the company saved time and money.
